We design and deliver qualitative and quantitative research, evaluations, evidence reviews and strategic studies, drawing on methods including systematic reviews, RCTs, participatory research and data analysis.

The Research People is led by Dr Lydia Tanner, a researcher and strategic adviser with 15 years' experience working across humanitarian, climate and conservation organisations.
Lydia has led more than 100 research and evaluation studies for organisations including UNICEF, the ICRC, UNHCR and ALNAP. Her work focuses on how organisations respond to change, adopt new technologies and innovations, and use evidence to make better decisions.
She holds a DPhil in Information Engineering from the University of Oxford and brings a combination of technical, research and field experience.
